Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore

The second of this diptych Italian series commissioned is of the famous Florence Cathedral; Saint Mary of the Flowers. The cathedral began construction in 1296 in the gothic style, to the design of Arnolfo di Cambio. It was completed in 1436 with its signature dome structure designed by Fillipo Brunelleschi.

This piece was completed on 250 gsm, hot pressed, smooth finished paper. Hand drawn without rulers, and inked with Sigma Micron archival ink pens and a mild colourisation using Copic alcohol based ink markers. Paper size - A3.
