Scudetto Diciannove : davanti al duomo

The first of two drawings by this particular client in this particular moment. He had just returned from a spiritual sojourn to his ancestral homeland, Italy. Being an AC Milan fan, the trip was timed to coincide with their 19th Serie A crowning. Fans flocked to the main piazza in Milan when the final points had been secured, to celebrate their championship triumph. It was reported that 1 million people descended upon the piazza that day. This drawing is a testament to that day and that moment, when the fans of the rossoneri amassed in front of the their gothic Duomo di Milano.

This piece was completed on 250gsm, hot pressed, smooth finished paper. Hand drawn freely and inked using Pigma Micron pens and coloured using Copic Ink Markers. Paper size - A3.
