South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute

This piece was commissioned by SAHMRI and intended as a parting gift to an outgoing director, as thanks for 10 years of groundbreaking efforts.

It was decided with the client that the best way to showcase this incredible piece of architecture was from the street level; capturing its vanishing points on its hooded facade structure. Drawing these individually, one-by-one, you really get to know the subtleties involved in producing such an effect. A grand achievement by Woods Bagot, the architects responsible for its design.

This piece was completed on Saunders 600gsm, hot pressed, smooth finished paper. Hand drawn from photograph, and inked with Pigma Micron archival ink pens and coloured with alcohol based Copic Ink Markers. Final drawing size - A1.
